Ideal as a treatment for seborrheic dermatitis and as a no-poo alternative to shampoo. Due to its high saponin content, it gently cleanses, leaving hair vibrant and shiny. Its purifying properties also make it recommended for psoriasis and eczema. In Ayurvedic medicine, it's considered a very effective treatment to combat excessive hair loss. Recommended in combination with the Oily Hair Pack, Fenugreek, or Neem.
Mix the required amount of powder with warm water until a paste is formed that is not too thick. Apply generously to slightly cleansed and damp hair. Wrap with plastic wrap or a shower cap and leave on for 10 to 30 minutes. After the allotted time, rinse without shampoo (the use of the Districante Co-Wash is recommended), and proceed with normal drying.*
*On particularly porous, very light, or recently bleached hair, it may, in some sporadic cases, cause slight darkening.
