Roman Herbs Center
Dr. Flavio Pantani (creator of Phitofilos) creates the
Centro Romano Erbe (CRE), a phytocosmetics company founded
on the Mediterranean and Ayurvedic herbal tradition.
1980
Henna and dyeing plants
The first imports of henna from Iran begin and
with them begins the adventure in the dyeing plants market.
1995
Cosmoprof
The CRE participates in Cosmoprof, the world fair
for the entire cosmetics and healthcare sector
professional beauty.
2007
Phitofilos
From the CRE experience Phitofilos was born, a reality capable
to combine the ancient knowledge of the herbal world,
with innovation aimed at the sustainability of cosmetics.
2013
Research and development
Phitofilos creates its first line of dyeing herbs and
natural compresses intended for home use,
which will complement the professional formats for herbalists and salons.
In the same year he launched a cosmetic line for hair,
making use of the new AIAB/QCERT eco-bio certifications.
2017
HEALTHY
Phitofilos participates for the first time at SANA
(International Exhibition of Organic and Natural Products),
the showcase of excellence for the organic sector
and natural products.
2019
Phitofilos Academy
The Phitofilos Professional Academy is born in Milan;
will follow the inauguration of the Rome office
and the Phitofilos Professional Academy based in London.

Phitofilos Professional
Phitofilos launches an exclusive product line for salons and
in the same year, at Cosmoprof, he sets up a stand
where over 20 professional eco-bio hairdressers, symbol of the
new path, they color hair using only plants.
2020
Face and body line
New lines for face and body care are born;
the hydroextracts, oils and bioactive fermented products used
from Phitofilos they represent Italian excellence in innovation
for functional and sustainable cosmetics.
2021
Sustainable packaging
Phitofilos reaches a new milestone in its journey
of sustainability, starting to convert all packaging
of the herbs in recyclable material paper and all the packaging
of cosmetics made from PCR (“post-consumer recycled”) plastic.
