Suitable to obtain cold red nuances, softening warm copper tones. It gives shine to the hair thanks to its astringent properties. To obtain visible color results and a good batter it is always recommended to use it in combination with dyeing powders.
The use of pure Red Sandalwood powder is not recommended because it does not allow for very intense color results. Added instead to Lawsonia powder (Red Henna No. 2 or No. 3), and even with the addition of Hibiscus, Madder, or Alkanet, it becomes an excellent ally for obtaining cool red highlights.
