Suitable to obtain or intensify nuances from pinkish to cold red. Its main dyeing pigment is the alizarin, contained in the root of the plant. In Ayurvedic medicine, Robbia is given multiple healthy properties, especially soothing ones. In order to cover white hair and obtain good batters, it is recommended to always use it in combination with other dyeing powders.
The use of pure madder root powder is not recommended because it does not allow for very intense color results. Added to Lawsonia powder (Red Henna No. 2 or No. 3), even with the addition of Hibiscus, Alcanna or Red Sandalwood, it becomes the ideal corrector for obtaining cool red nuances. Combined with Chamomile Blonde or Strawberry Blonde, it leads to apricot shades.
