Suitable to intensify the cold tones of red thanks to its delicate bright violet pigment. Hibiscus, known also by the name of karkadè, it is historically used to prevent hair loss and to keep it soft and untangled, strong and shiny thanks to the presence of ascorbic acid, tannins, mucilages and phytosterols. To obtain visible color results and a good batter it is always recommended to use it in combination with dyeing powders.
The use of pure Hibiscus powder is not recommended because it alone does not allow for very intense color results. Added to Lawsonia powder (Red Henna No. 2 or No. 3), and even with the addition of Madder or Alcanna, it becomes a corrector for obtaining cool red nuances; added to Walnut Hulls, it is useful for achieving sandy blonde highlights.
