Ideal as a treatment to provide hydration, elasticity, and volume to the hair. Goond Katira is a plant-derived latex produced by certain species of legumes and is rich in mucilage, starches, and amino acids. It is often combined with other plant-based treatments to create creamy compounds that are easy to apply to the hair. For a strengthening effect, it is recommended in synergy with Spirulina or a Strengthening Mask.
Mix the required amount of powder with warm water. Let it rest for at least 2-3 hours for proper hydration, then use an immersion blender to obtain a gel. Add the mixture to the herbal paste you want to combine it with or apply the Goond Katira paste generously to clean, slightly damp hair. Wrap with plastic wrap or a shower cap and leave on for 20 to 40 minutes. After the allotted time, rinse without shampooing (we recommend using our Detangling Co-Wash), and proceed with normal drying.
