Suitable as a treatment to give hydration, elasticity and volume to the hair. Goond Katira is a vegetal derivative of latex produced by some species of leguminosae, rich in starches, amino acids and mucilages. It is often added to other vegetal treatments to obtain creamy mixtures easy to apply on the hair. To get a strengthening effect it is recommended in combination with Spirulina or Impacco Rinforzante.
Mix the required amount of powder with warm water. Let it rest for at least 2-3 hours for proper hydration, then use an immersion blender to obtain a gel. Add the mixture to the herbal paste you want to combine it with or apply the Goond Katira paste generously to clean, slightly damp hair. Wrap with plastic wrap or a shower cap and leave on for 20 to 40 minutes. After the allotted time, rinse without shampooing (we recommend using our Detangling Co-Wash), and proceed with normal drying.
